It’s been a busy week for everyone at FlexiSAF but I’m sure that’s expected by now. Luckily, we understand that busy doesn’t always mean we can’t have fun too.
Speaking of fun, here’s what our picnic from the other week was like:
We had Our Children’s Day Giveaway this week too. It was our second ever social media giveaway (after our world stationary day giveaway) and it went well. The contest ran from Saturday till Tuesday. School children were asked to send in pictures holding up creative signs with reasons why they think technology is important in the classroom/schools. Some of the entries were really thoughtful:
The winner was announced on Tuesday evening. She’s a student of Pace Setters Academy Abuja. We liked her sign and the 4 points she gave so she’s been invited to our office next week with a staff from her school to redeem her prize: free internet for her school and an educational tablet for herself.
We all took the day off on Monday to mark Democracy Day so it was ‘technically’ a 4-day work week. But, you know us…
We’ve been working on two (2) New Updates to SAFSMS. With the New ‘club’ feature, you can now manage your students extra-curricular in one place. See More about it. SAFSMS is also now theme-able; so you can give your page a face-lift and make it personal to you, finally. What do you think? Click here to try a demo
We’re also at #TOSSE2017 happening in Lagos. TOSSE, or Total School Support Seminar/Exhibition is Africa’s largest event for stakeholders in the Education sector to access innovative products and services.
The 9th Edition is a 2-day trade fair and it started yesterday at 10 Degrees Event Center, Lagos. We’re having a good time learning and connecting more with the users of our products.
The Nigeria Association of Computer Science Students in Federal University, Dutse awarded FlexiSAF as the most inspiring IT Firm in Nigeria. 🙂
Our CEO was there to receive the award. And then he was in Lagos on Saturday for the #TechpointInspired event.
It was a very educative gathering for start ups, professionals and policy makers across Nigeria and Africa.
So finally it’s Friday. I’m sure we could all use a weekend’s rest. How was your week?
Don’t forget that we’ll be hosting Our next Excursion Series in the coming week. Many schools have expressed interest already and we’re excited about it so ‘keep keeping up’ with us to see who’s visiting and we’ll let you know first hand.
Have a Great weekend!
